I am 53 years old from North Carolina in a desk job, diabetic, about 25% body fat and with little history of consistent physical activity. For health reasons bringing my body fat down and increasing physical activity are imperative for me. I have worked with personal trainers in local gyms here in NC over the last three years. All these trainers emphasized volume of exercise and a drill sergeant approach, which soon made me stop sessions with them. I found Josef via his website and visited him in DC several months ago, and have worked with since then, sometimes in person and mostly by mail/email. His program is truly tailored to what I can do, as he has taken the time to understand what I can do consistently. He has also helped me get on a low-carb high protein diet (I am a vegetarian) that will work for me; his cooking skills and unique recipes and food ideas have been very helpful. Josef is very understanding yet firm as a trainer. He is very knowledgeable and scientific in his approach. I have been very pleased with the results he has given me and would highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
