Imagine you were a carpenter and you had just been hired to build a house, but when you arrived for work the only thing your boss gave you was a box of tools. What’s missing?

If your goal is fat-loss, what should you do when you go to the gym?
If you said, “cardio,” think again. Check the scientific journal Obesity for the truth about what happens when you do “cardio.” If you do one hour per day, 6 days per week (that’s a lot of time huh?) in 12 months you will have dropped just over 5 pounds if you’re a man; and barely 4 if you’re a woman.
The whole idea that “cardio” makes you thin is based off the idea that elite marathon runners are thin, therefore they must be thin because they do a lot of cardio (aerobic exercise). Well, what about basketball players. They’re tall. Are they tall because they play bball?
What’s that you say? “They’re good at basketball because they’re tall.” It’s the same thing for marathon runners. They’re good at running marathons because they are skinny people.
Running marathons just destroys fat people’s knees.
